Well, Nachum.

This is indeed a sad day for Cardinal fans. But not because of any snubbing by Obama.

Former Cardinal pitcher Bob Forsch passed away suddenly today. He threw the ceremonial first pitch for World Series Game 7 last week. In his glory days he was a key figure in Whitey Herzog’s pitching arsenal. He could handle the bat too, which always helps in the National League.

I thought about posting a separate thread on this.

Decided is was best to refrain. FR really isn’t a sports talk forum and true baseball fans in middle America probably already know.
