ST. PAUL, Minnesota (AP) — Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura is so upset by the dismissal of his airport security lawsuit that he threatened Friday to apply for dual citizenship so he can spend more time in his beloved Mexico — or run for president of what he labeled "the Fascist States of America."
Ventura, also a former wrestling star, sued the U.S. government in January, alleging that airport scans and pat-downs amounted to unreasonable search and seizure.

At least he had the guts to file the suit. Everyone else is content to just stand there and take the indignity of having their private parts fondled by unaccountable gestapo.
I think he’s right about the TSA, but I hope he doesn’t let the door hit him in the butt on the way out. Ventura was an idiot’s dream come true in so many, many ways here in MN. However, having said that, he did do a thing or two that made sense and were of benefit to general liberty and freedom; he eliminated the punitive licensing tax that favors older cars over new and he returned excess monies to the people when the state overcollected for the budget. Other than that, he’s a complete moron and totally into his ignorance.

Are you even halfway familiar with the details of this case? I'm really surprised that Freepers would be so nonchalant about the nullification of their constitutional rights.
Our freedom is swirling the toilet bowl of history and you folks are cheering the loss of one of the only men doing trying to do anything about it.

yours is the salient point here. jesse is trying to stand up to the unconstitutional searches at our airports, at least give him credit for that. otoh, if he wants to go to mexico, let him carry his ass and not look back.
