CANNES, France (AP) — Conceding a fragile global recovery and plodding job growth back home, President Barack Obama said Friday he is confident European leaders are fixing their ominous debt crisis, which threatens to undermine the United States and his own shot at a second term.

A year shy of the election, Obama said the American economy is growing, but "way too slow."

The president capped his role at a brisk G-20 summit essentially where he started it, offering solidarity to his European peers with none-too-subtle signals it was their responsibility to clean up the economic mess in their own backyards.

“Please, people get year heads out of your respective asses!”

When you look at election results since Obama’s election, it would seem that not many people are being fooled. Starting in 2009, it has been one debacle after another for the Dems. While the media rants about people being angry at Republican obstructionism, the election results themselves would indicate this is a flat-out lie. Every constituency of Obama’s “coalition’ is in worse shape than 3 years ago, and he just sits there with the stupid look of an affirmative-action college freshman who realizes that everyone else in the classroom understands what the professor is saying, while he understands nothing...

The media’s running interference for Obama hasn’t worked at all; 2012 will be very telling (I still don’t believe Obama will be the Dem candidate - it would be too good to be true).

I just don’t see his ego being up to a loss; he’ll be remembered as the first “black” elected president, but doesn’t want to be the first “black” to lose a presidential election as well.

He is right. US debt makes the Greek debt seem like a walmart cash card. Hell now we have real debt, and no one seems to care. Might I remind folks that we have 115 TRILLION Dollars of unfunded mandates. Holy crap and both parties ignore it while they struggle to cut 1.5T over 10 years. But on the bright side Bank of America cancelled its plans to charge $5 for its atm cards...whew thank God.
Wake up folks, we can not afford the entitlement programs or the military...just saying.
