Please explain how Nazis, who support big government and very limited individual freedoms, are far-right. Again, it depends on how you define fascism on the political spectrum. It's generally considered them to be on the right end.
Personally, I don't consider the political spectrum to be bipolar. But, I'm in the minority.

That was the whole point of the remark in the first place - that the Left has defined Nazism as right wing arbitrarily to tarnish the right when, in reality and from an American perspective, Nazism was an extremely left wing philosophy, since it embodied the idea of power centralized in the government with the people subservient. The extreme right end of the spectrum in American political philosophy would actually be more libertarian (limited government). The widespread acceptance of the current definition of fascist as right wing is nothing more than the result of left wing propaganda.

Correct.
“Personally, I don’t consider the political spectrum to be bipolar. But, I’m in the minority.”
You are not alone ! I personaly think of the political spectrum as a circle. Some radical right wing ideas are very popular among radical left wingers and the other way around.
For example:
Neither one from the left or the right wing likes bailouts for companies. The Arguments are:
- right wing: Theft of taxpayers money for the employees
- left wing: Theft of taxpayers money for the share holders
The idea remains the same: No bailouts.
The other problem is that there is not a single political spectrum there are many depending on the discussed policy.
