No one doubts the media are meanies. No one doubts that this is a smear job, nor doubts that such a story would result in a free for all causing finger pointing between the various campaigns all around, incuding at the White House, as to whom could be the source of the story that Cain endured two harrassment accusations.

Conservatives, finally, now have the muscle, and the where with all, and the resolve, to turn their own powerful guns on the media for all their historically unchallenged muck raking and political hatchet jobs over the years, and their deadly shaping of loose facts, barely facts and no facts. Now conservatives can make the media a part of the story.
This is a good thing.

So, does this mean that a conservative is now politcally incorrect to read and repeat what have been reported as eye witness accounts to Cain’s past behaviors? I accept that the media are meanies. I didn’t like it when they tried to associate Rick Perry with the signage on the rock, when what his family actually did was try to deface the signage, and when that paint-over faded they turned the dang thing over. Cain was no help. He uses it to jump the gun and appear on two Sunday shows to label the affair as
“insensitive”. This remark was irritating. Cain was so eager he to appear with the finger point against Rick he didn’t yet know of the efforts Perry made to get rid of the signage.

Now comes Cain, again, out of the gate pointing fingers back, at the Perry campaign, over the exposure of the two accusations against himself, while cheerfully, again, free-passing the ties the Romney campaign had with the National Restaurant Association, and also free-passing the White House’s own ability to expose the so-called
“settlements” with the NRA.

This is why Perry supporters have more than a passing interest in what’s up with this guy, why the heck is it that the rag Cain has is ALWAYS Perry and NEVER Romney. Yes, the media are meanies. What pray tell is Cain’s obsession with only Rick Perry? Rick is not leading in the polls against Cain. Is it politically incorrect to notice that for the first several hours of this breaking story that it was Romney under suspicion? Romney was known to have the ability to leak this and with some connections of his own to the NRA? What did you hear from Cain against Romney? Crickits. Whadaya EVER hear from Cain against Romney?

Excellent scenario!

Consider also, that the Media are actively running cover for Mittens and would throw out red herrings to distract attention from the obvious culprit.

It was Mittens who was threatened by the Herminator, not Perry.
