During an interview with CNN's John King on Thursday, the Texas governor said that expectations that U.S. authorities are going to arrest and deport up to 15 million undocumented immigrants isn't realistic.

Mmmmmmmm........Perry is getting good at reading Mexico's checklist: "Mexico's Demands From A Rick Perry White House."
Plus work visas do not prevent the border-violators from looting the US govt, and riding the US gravy train under multiple identities.
And I applied the same to you. You want to play ‘who am I games’ all freaking day?
Who said they’re going to be in the country? They need to apply for the permit to get here. Nobody said give to the ones who are here, not even Rick Perry.
So, you are proposing the same thing as Perry has been asking for for years, and yet your position on immigration is differenet. BS!
Nevertheless, so far this year there’s been 67,111 H1B1 visa’s handed out to people from India alone. And you’re fine with that. Right? And they can stay here for six years and become eligible for citizenship. And all they do is come here to work. Same thing as the migrant Hispanics from Mexico. Many of them coming back and forth for over 20 years, have not hurt one soul, not a soul objected to their crossing.
I say make the offer for the Guest Worker Permit. Get the honest ones to come out and sign up for them so you can weed the criminals out. Then if they don’t have a document, those them in jail, and let the honest ones start paying taxes and being productive.
This is exactly what Perry's plan is:
"Rick Perry supports work visas for undocumented immigrants in U.S."
If they are not in this Country, they are not undocumented immigrants. Perry wants to make them all legal, give them amnesty for their immigration crimes and let them stay in the U.S.
I am not proposing the same policy as Perry. Perry is proposing mass amnesty. He wants to allow almost all illegals to remain although not to become citizens. My proposal would not grant amnesty to any illegal currently in the country. I propose attrition through enforcement of immigration laws and elimination of government benefits for illegal aliens. The guest worker program that I propose would not allow families to immigrate. In addition, the guest worker program would be relatively small compared to the number of illegals currently living here. Perry wants to put all illegals living in this country to become legal through a guest worker program, a huge amnesty. My proposal would require applicants to be outside of the US.
Sorry, all kinds of people are strongly against the H1B1 program, especially the people, particularly in IT, who not only lost their jobs to these "immigrants", but who had to train them to take over their job.
Nah. Just eat shite and bark at the moon, then die. Thanks.
” Perry in power is downright frighteninghe demonstrates his fervid contempt for voters at every turn. Perrys disregard for the democratic process, and for our precious freedoms, is appalling.
All of his actions are self-serving-to further himself at the expense of the republic.
God only knows what this witless wonder would do with presidential power.”
As bad, or worse than Obama.
Hey, did you know Perry is the one, true conservative in this race! I just read it on another thread so it must be true!
Oh, it’s twue! It’s twue !......Joan Rivers : )
Yep, grow government more instead of enforcing the existing laws. Of course, nothing in the earth shattering plan of Perry’s solves the other areas that are being affected, such as healthcare, auto insurance, welfare, etc.
Rick Perry has not once said the word amnesty, nor proposed it.
Well, ya’ll can just keep on having wet dreams about the big round up of illegal aliens that not one, NOT EVEN ONE, of our republican candidates are talking about and certainly not any of the democrats. When you get your buses and your handcuffs, or your horses saddled up for the big march south of men, women, children, grandma’s and grandpa’s, let me know and I’ll cheer you on.
In the meantime somebody needs to be addressing the problem and finding a solution that doesn’t require sucking up more borrowed money and debt.
Oh, yeah....I saw that thread.
As Perry's numbers sink into oblivion, the Perry-pimponistas are stepping it up, trying to keep Perry half a point ahead of bottom-feeder Huntsman.
Still have the anchor baby issue.
We need a re-interpretation of the 14th Amendment that says (retroactively) that the children of illegal aliens are NOT citizens because illegal aliens are not “subject to jurisdiction thereof.”
Oh please. Obama hasn't once used the word "socialism", nor proposed it, but that's what he's giving us.
Once more:
Entering this Country without the proper documents or in an unauthorized area is a crime, 6 months in prison for the first offense and 2 years in prison for the second, felony, offense. No matter what the person does after they commit the crime, they are still criminals. Perry proposes to make these people "legal" with work permits thereby pardoning their past criminal acts.
The definition of amnesty is: "Amnesty: the act of an authority (as a government) by which pardon is granted to a large group of individuals"
If these people are told they do not have to answer for their crimes, this is, by definition, amnesty, pure and simple. It doesn't matter what Perry, or anyone else, wants to call it or how dishonest they want to be about it. If the criminals do not have to answer for their crimes it means they were given amnesty.
Once AGAIN, when you find a candidate or a politician that has the buses and handcuffs or the horses saddled up for the round up march south of 15 million illegal aliens, ya’ll let me know and I will come cheer you on.
Until then somebody needs to find a way to solve the problem. So many of you blither, if we send them home Americans will do those jobs. WELL THAT’S A LIE, as evidenced by Alabama’s crops sitting in the fields rotting and farmers begging for help.
So if you want your food, which these migrant workers have been picking for over 50 years, you’d better be prepared to go knee deep into the fields and pick it.
