Norte Mexico 175 years ago.

From one American to another, Texas is not North Mexico and we have a proud heritage here in Texas. Texans fought for their freedom on their own and we would do it again. I give all respect to all the states but Texas is the state spending the big bucks and using our resources to protect Americas border.

The poster didn't read the article because the article is not about that at all.

The article is about the pluses and he presents the minuses.

Texas businessmen make billions pushing the cost of hiring illegals onto the American taxpayer, and they spend millions lobbying against enforcing our immigration laws.

The result? Texas ends up headed toward a Hispanic-majority state. You (collectively, and Perry) register almost the lowest educational test scores in the country and then tell us it isn’t your fault.

The rest of our country doesn’t want to end up like Texas and I, for one, hold Texans in good part responsible that we’ve gone down that road as far as we have.

You might want to run that by LaRaza because they say your squatting on their land.
