What kind of discussion do you want to have? Yes, Texas is full of reasonable people for the majority, thank goodness. We understand how the economy works, and we’re team players. And we don’t like anybody else messing in our business. Nor are we about to let the unions dictate in our workplace and destroy our businesses.

Rick Perry’s first premise, ‘don’t confiscate and spend all the money’ works for us. He’s helped us fight off the tax and spend Marxist democrats and their state income taxes. His talent for dealing with democratic cities who will screech and squawk if you try to put industry in it with jobs, has been successful. And his concept of regulate with moderation, just enough to protect the land and the people also works for us. As well as his ability to spot problems and bring solutions. Like tort reform, and then tort reform, loser pays; insurance risk pools; not expanding the unfunded federal mandates from the welfare state; taking our state parks off the general revenue and making them operate on their own revenue; and even greater, he fights and defends our state against the feds and their interference.

Yes, much credit goes to us every day Texans. But our success has depended on choosing leadership that allows us to run the show and doesn’t try to solve our every problem for us. It makes even our weakest stronger.

Those that call him a buffoon or a goofball because he’s not a silk willy smooth talker who will stand up tell you what you want to hear that makes you feel good, evidently value the look of things rather than the substance. If that’s all you want for our nation is the ‘look of things’ then eat shite and continue to live in a Marxist country, with sleazy Mitt Romney.

Yes it's a basic cultural way of life in Texas and those in other states with that same "make your own way" attitude prosper when they come here.

This is about a philosophy that we need to bring to DC. Perry has this philosophy in his blood.

We need to tap into that all over the USA.
