Tell that to parents of vaccine-injured kids
Consider the liability for the physician to expose newborns to willfully non-vaccinated older kids in his office.
I was growing up right before the polio vaccine, I knew many people who were crippled for life because of it, I never had the pleasure of knowing those who died of it.
I also lived next door to a doctor who had his office right next to his house and we knew a lot of what went on, especially when an unvaccinated child died of Diptheria or Whooping Cough. The Dr. was always mad because it was a senseless death because we did have vaccines for that but they didn’t use them in Mexico which was just a few miles down the road.
I, myself, almost died from the measles, my SIL was left partially deaf and legally blind from them and my mother almost died when she got them at 40.
Just recently a young man we know with 4 children who they don’t vaccinate got the Chicken Pox and almost died because his brain swelled, he was sick for 2 months and lost his business because of it.
My grandfather died of Tetanus.
If the majority of the people weren’t vaccinated our hospitals would be filled with people with preventable diseases. People always cite antibiotics as changing the life expectancies but I believe that it wasn’t them alone, it was vaccinations and healthy and available food combined with them.
I know I live in my own small world but I lived in a smaller world then and the only person I know who was harmed by a vaccination in my husband who almost died from his Smallpox vaccination.
People who missed this time don’t think that those diseases are all that bad and they are able to get away from vaccinating their children only because the vast majority of the population does vaccinate.
So tell your anti-vaccination story to the parents of disease-injured/deceased children.
