Because Forbes was the think tank behind Cain's tax plan. Now he's giving him bad advice in this direction. I know Cain hates Perry, but he should have just let it go and not jumped in following Forbes lead. If Forbes loses credibility, he loses it on other fronts too.

Forbes worked with Perry on the flat tax plan. Forbes is not involved with Cain’s 9-9-9 plan.
Forbes also endorsed Rick Perry.
Cain was talking about a Forbes Magazine article. An article which mostly reported what Cain said. And then he used that to suggest it was all Forbes Magazine’s fault that Cain falsely accused Anderson.
