Many Rich Chinese Consider Leaving
By JEREMY PAGE
BEIJINGMore than half of China's millionaires are either considering emigrating or have already taken steps to do so, according to a survey that builds on similar findings earlier this year, highlighting worries among the business elite about their quality of life and financial prospects, despite the country's fast-paced growth.
The U.S. is the most popular emigration destination, according to the survey of 980 Chinese people with assets of more than 10 million yuan ($1.6 million) published on Saturday by Bank of China and wealth researcher Hurun Report.
While growth has slowed, China's economic performance is still the envy of the Western world: It registered annual gross domestic product growth of 9.1% in the third quarter, and the International Monetary Fund has forecast growth of 9.5% for all of 2011.

P!
And why is that? Well enjoy it while you can. It won't be long before it's like the place you left, or worse.
They shuld note that dear leader Zer0 is turning us into North Korea which is worse than China. Don’t come here unless you have confidence in the next election. I have hope for change, but there are too many stupid, crazy or evil voters out there for me to have much hope.
Really... only that % ?

No way I’m learing Chinese. I can’t even learn good English. Putting my foot down.
In order for us to get through this without becoming mental patients, lets attempt some glass is half full perspectives here. When these particular arrivals, whom by and large are likely nothing like the leeches that Americans, and far more so Euroepans, have been accustomed to and will improve this nation, realize that Zero’s policies will wreck every one of their aspirations, we will have more votes against him and for leaders who excercise true fiscal responsibility-and every vote really does count, and more new citizens actively aiding the fight to get them out of office.
Look at all the hard working Koreans doing well in the good ole USA. Way back in the 70’s, I had this 35 year old Korean Lady offer to pay me 10K to marry her, just to get stateside. She had a beautiful house in Seoul; woman had made some bucks in Korea, had a store and all. Those Koreans are a benefit to America, no joke.
Of course they are, it’s common knowledge. Do you know a lot of the Korean Americans now ? Are they loosing all their money and homes now now or are they still prospering and having sueccesful businesses ? If the latter, I cant imagine how much that must drive the Occupy Wall Street corwd mad.
I mean crowd. Forgive me, I’m not the best typer.
And drive....
The US became the greatest country in the world by attracting the best & brightest from around the world. I hope we can continue to do so; we seem determined to educate the best and the brightest and send them back to their countries with millions of our jobs.
Interesting how few are choosing HK. Why?
It is a part of China.
Rich Chinese consider emigrating because they know how the Chinese treat other Chinese. Basically, they know that they are “fair game” in almost any scenario.
Life is really cheap in China because there is such an excess supply of humans.
