Every single one of the Constitutional Amendments have served only to crucify the American Republic upside down and turn it into a doomed to fail democracy.
The proof is right in front of your eyes.
Democracy is Doomed to Failure
“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years.” This quote is attributed to Alexander Fraser Tytler. In 1814, John Adams said “Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”
The slavery Amendment was yet another nail in the coffin of the Republic, Catholic nations had already abolished slavery and even the WASPS in the USA would have stopped the practice eventualy, Amendment not required.
