The article doesn’t say she woke up in Cain’s bed. It says:
“...took the woman by taxi to his apartment, where she spent the night and woke up.”
The word bed is not found in the article at all. Neither is the word sex.
When you go with someone to their apartment after a night of drinking, the assumption is you’re going to have sex. The fact that the article seems doesn’t meniton sex or a bed, but says “spent the night and woke up” is, well...a curious choice of words.
I’m not sure what to make out of this, other than the fact that there’s something missing from the story.
It's bogus IMO...and not hardly worth the time given it.
They took out the word bed? Interesting.
In case someone else hasn’t already posted it. The article has added corrections, which negate key portions of the story. Corrections from PJM are below:
(CORRECTIONS: A previous version of this story mentioned that a source witnessed Cain and the woman entering a taxi together. This was incorrect.
The previous version also mentioned that the woman awoke in Cains bed the source only claimed that the woman awoke in Cains apartment.
The previous version incorrectly attributed comments from one source to the other source.)
I suspect what's missing is the truth.
