Adding to the ongoing Herman Cain sexual harassment controversy, two sources have now confirmed to PJ Media that a female employee of the National Restaurant Association told associates she had been brought by Mr. Cain to his Crystal City, Virginia residence where she alleged “he had taken advantage of me.”
One source, a male, told PJ Media:
Herman took advantage of seniority and power with a young woman. It was an abuse of power.
Implying that coming forward with the accusations was an ordeal for the young woman, the source also said:
Who do you believe, a CEO or a mid-level staffer? It was unsettling for her to make charges.
The name of the woman — who was in her early twenties at the time of the alleged incident — has been confirmed by PJ Media. We have chosen not to reveal her identity for reasons of discretion.
Both sources, one male and one female, worked at the time — mid-1990s — for the governmental affairs department of the National Restaurant Association, as did the woman.

We're talking political realities here, not my personal opinion. If it turns out Cain basically cheated on is wife (regardless of whether there was sexual harassment involved) he is finished within the Republican party this cycle. In the Democrat party he could probably recover, but not in the GOP. Cain could do the therapy thing and no doubt come back as a political commentator somewhere, but for this election cycle if it turned out he cheated on his wife his support amongst the conservative base would collapse overnight.
If, IF..he took a young female staffer back to his apartment, that's incrfedibly stupid judgement..

Yeah, I'm sure all the tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars she got were terribly unsettling. Wake up people. The majority of accusations of "sexual harassment" are invented by liberals in order to enrich their trial lawyer friends. Their is indeed true indecency, but liberal politicans commit indecency all the time, usually to the praise of the media. Bill Clinton is a rapist, for goodness sake.
The one factual report I heard was that Cain said to one woman, "Darling, would you doctor my tea for me?" Since southerners call just about everyone darling, and they like lemon and lots of sugar in their tea, I am not sure how this constituted sexual harassment. Yet again another example of the liberal media and the Republican establishment using different standards for conservatives than for liberals.
Im sorry, if this has been previously documented, and if it is true like that, then Cain is done. I dont care of Clinton got away with it, I have higher standards.
Primary objective of the Democratic left and RINOs, with full cooperation of the MSM is to take Cain down at any cost. This whole saga makes me sick to my stomach and I am quickly losing heart over far too many things going on in America. I don’t know the place anymore.

Almost 3,000 people paid with their lives for Clinton and his constant sexual harassment juggling act. Never again! Who cares what party they are in.
Here’s the problem: the article never says he had sex with her. It’s worded in a way to make you draw that conclusion, but they are weasel words.
Did he live there with his wife or have some second residence? Perhaps he wanted to make sure she had somewhere to crash after a night of drinking. “His bed” can mean anything—a spare room, etc. She isn’t claiming he touched her. And she didn’t say he was with her when she woke up.

If its true, Cain is finished and we can forget about having an actual conservative in the White House come 2012.
This allegation would have been in the initial story if it was even alleged; not more than a week later.
If true, Cain would have been forced to resign and Amy settlement would have been for much, much more money.
This story is falling apart and this IA just a desperate attempt to keep it going.
If someone accused me of this; I would never “pay them to go away” if it was false.
I would go at them full force and take them on. I would care less what it cost.
If you are innocent, but pay someone off; it would always come back to you.
Take the ba$tards on for making something up would be the way to go.
I’m waiting it out. If everything she says is true, I’ll still vote for him, but I’m anxious to see where this goes.
