Not exactly, that’s why what Perry is proposing is so effective. You fence the part that is the main crossing points and then have preditors and boots on the ground to keep after the rest IN ADDITION to watching what is happening at the fenced portions. California built the fence, but without the federal government putting boots on the ground and drones in the air it’s meaningless.

California built the fence, but without the federal government putting boots on the ground and drones in the air its meaningless. They tried that kind of approach in Arizona - using boots and technology to compensate for the lack of a fence.
It didn't work.
We need to learn from mistakes, not demand that they be repeated.
