Isn’t this is an example of globalism destroying national sovereignty? Regardless of what you think about Greece, it is a sovereign nation and its people should have a right to vote on their economic outcome, just as the Icelanders did and who told their bankers that the people were not going to eat their debt.
The Greek PM wants to give the Greek people the democratic right to decide if they wish to leave the Euro-zone but the world establishment doesn’t want the Greek people to have that right.
Unfortunately the USA doesn’t have the right of referendum as do some other countries. We should have it and we’d have a democracy that we the people could control and illegal immigration would be ended. Our time is coming for the USA when the world tells us what we must do and must give-up, such as firearms or military. Guaranteed. This one world order is coming home to roost and your rights as an American will be sacrificed in the name of world government.
That well may be (and I think it true), however they, as a group...and being quite proud, have been publicly humiliated. They do not like that...In fact they are boiling with rage.
I think they will vote to default just to say “screw you” to the EU and the West in general.
All hell is about to break loose. IMHO. It is starting over here in Oakland. Chicago, has been gearing up with it's hate whitey mobs for a while...so they will probably be second. NYC, Philly will be looter-ville. It's not going to be pretty. The OWS fools are being swallowed up as we write, by some of the worst actors in the Left, behind the scenes and the riff-raff of society are jumping on board for free Nike outfits. The Purple People Beaters are getting their t-shirts ready for some action.
I'm no expert on any of the financial stuff. But just reading about this for the last 3+ years...It is clearly just the bitter end of the shell game, or Ponzi scheme...call it what you want. The ones with the real $$$ know it's the end game and are going to pull their $$$ out any day now. If the latest Greek bail-out would have gone through without a hitch...the $$$ would be in it for one more round. The Greeks are just pulling the plug. The gravy train is over...
I'd buy some guns/ammo, food, stock up on water, buy tobacco to barter, if you have the money to do it. I realize this sounds koo-koo...but, really....We have been living in a wonderful, bountiful time. Nothing ever like it in history, really. Well, other than Rome.
If this Leftist take over really starts to try to destroy the public safety and causes enough chaos...The Islamonazis will take their opportunity to hit us when we are down. Buy lots of water and food...if these supplies are screwed with it will be like Japan after the nuke plant started to melt down. No more supplies in your local stores.
Hey, hate to be doom and gloom...but you can always eat those 300 cans of tuna and drink the 500 gallons of water you put in the spare bedroom. Right? Oh, and the best advice I ever heard about living through VERY hard times? Buy cheap multi-vitamin tabs. The best I've come across are the ones at Trader Joes. I have about 50 large jars of them. Again, what can it hurt? If you can afford it, do it.
Things are moving rapidly. I'd suggest anyone interested read Mark Steyn’s latest book. He eloquently explains just how quickly our wonderful situation can end.
