Puzzle me this:
Why wasn't Cain up front with this? He knew it would come out.
Maybe he isn't as bright as I thought.

Maybe because there is nothing to it. Maybe someone made an accusation, it was investigated and nothing was found, a settlement was paid it to make it go away, but Cain's involvement was minimal. If you were not guilty of something, would you worry that it would become an issue? Hasn't Cain been focusing on the real issues of government spending, taxes, and the economic health of the country?
