I think the headline using the word "spite" is unfair. It really doesn't matter why she released the tape - it exists and he beat and verbally assaulted his child. It is still my opinion he did this often because the girl seemed to know to hush immediately. No one could take a beating like that and not continue to cry unless they were conditioned to suck it up and "take it like an adult".
Her Mother is making excuses for her complicity in that kind of abuse.

I’d have a lot of spite too if that was me. I think the fact it was released after the apparent statute of limitations tends says she took it relatively easy on him. He’ll likely lose his job as a judge, but that’s getting off light compared to what I’d have done. However, I’m very vindictive on certain matters.

That is interesting. At 16 other forms of “discipline” should have been used but if the statement is right this girl just forced her dad to lose his job which will have the the effect of cutting off her financial support. But then she might make much more on the story.
Shoot I can’t afford a Mercedes for myself let alone our kids. She should be smart enough to not cut off the hand that feeds her.
