LOL, I will LMAO if they pulled the “CCR” Newbie Trick on her.
Some of the DC FReepers might be able to clarify this. There appears to be a running gag in DC/NOVA of taking “newbies” to lunch at a place called the Crystal City Restaurant. Sounds like a perfectly family-type oriented name. It’s usually not until the newbie walks in that they realize it’s a Gentleman’s club, with a bunch of laughing people and a camera to capture their reaction.
Today’s lesson: When someone asks you if you want to go to CCR (aka Crystal City Restaurant), say NO!
Obviously, just kidding above, as I don’t think Herman or anyone at NRA would have been stupid enough to pull this prank on a woman, as usually this is mostly pulled on the males.
I noted this restaurant in Virginia bit in the article. I believe the original reports were that whatever this is occurred at the NRA convention in CHICAGO??
