Oklahoma political consultant Chris Wilson says if the woman behind the reported sexual harassment complaint against GOP Presidential hopeful Herman Cain is allowed to speak publicly, it'll be the end of Cain's run for the White House.

Interviewed today on KTOK's Mullins in the Morning, Wilson, of Wilson-Perkins-Allen Opinion Research headquartered in Washington, D.C. explained he was a witness to the incident. "I was the pollster at the National Restaurant Association when Herman Cain was head of it and I was around a couple of times when this happened and anyone who was involved with the NRA at the time, knew that this was gonna come up."

“Smearing Perry for this is like me calling your mother a whore because the house she grew up in was a bordello before her daddy bought it! It’s inaccurate, unfair and beneath the dignity of good people to do so.”

Of course it is,, i even said the hunting camp thing was a joke. And so is this deal with Cain. Both are trivial incidents and tell us nothing useful except about the vile nature of the opposition,,

Thats my point,, Perry’s is just as serious as Cains,,or non-serious if you prefer. BUt you were trying to say Perrys was fine, but that Cains was the death knell,,,

It’s November for crying out loud. Perry’s fine for now and I still expect him to win.

(I know it seems like I am posting a lot too you....I guess I am answering your pings). Anyway, you are right it is November. But he has less than 60 days. I can’t even begin to emphasis to you how much Perry needs to COMPLETELY change his entire campaign to win the nom. I don’t think it can be done by 3 January. Next debate it 8 November.....we will see how he does.

The Perrywinkle Girls are fawning over a hunk of horse meat that’s gone lame. He’s either dumb struck or acting like Lady Ga Ga on steroids. Maybe he got hold of some of that alkali water down there...

But now that the news is out that someone from the NRA (not THAT NRA...) is involved in all this, that he’s done polling for Perrywinkle, has ties to Rove and the Bush administration, and Romney has ties to the NRA, well, we have a nice little backroom ‘gotcha moment’ (I could have used another, more suggestive, term...) going on here. I love it.

Jezz, we all bitched about Obama not getting vetted and now you’re willing to give this guy a free ride?

Cain is being vetted. Obama wasn’t. This sexual harassment thing I don’t care about because what is the worst that it will be? He compared her hight to his wife’s and said “come here and screw me?” I bet that will be the WORST that will become of it and if that is it, I don’t care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“so I told him I would gladly go as long as his wife did too.”

LOL! Solid comeback,, i need to pass that one on to my daughter as a future tactic. I bet it chilled him out too.

Just finished talking with a friend of mine (fellow lawyer) and asked if he had heard of this. He had not. But he had heard of Chris Wilson. It seems my friend was hired a few years ago by the law firm of Antonin Scalia’s son in Washington to collect a sizable federal court judgment against Mr. Wilson. Seems Mr. Wilson left a consulting firm and took much proprietary info with him. He paid handsomely for his indiscretion.

My friend says he would not believe anything Johnson would be peddling. He had an issue telling the truth when he was put under oath.

So, I would not believe anything negative about Cain, from Wilson, without much more corroboration.

I think in this case it is a Perry person causing tis BS.

You WANT it to be a Perry person ... you have shown and irrational hatred for Rick Perry!

I suspect there’s basically nothing to see here.

What you've written is the most objective thus far. But 'seeing' is in the eyes of the beholder, to use a phrase. And many see things in this because they want to. We all have our agendas, even on this forum.

“so I told him I would gladly go as long as his wife did too.”

You know,, that could jokingly deal with a good man who went a little too far in humor, without making you into the humorless shrew. BUT it would also be a not so veiled warning to a bully or bad guy that you reserved the right to go nuclear. And to an average guy, thinking of starting down a bad road,, might make him think about things a little.
Well played,,

Then quit making bold statements. Of course I see your are back tracking now that your bluff is called.

Wise move.

And I don't blame perry but he will benefit. Well maybe, he is still tanking while Cain shoots up.

Gotta love that.

Perry lost around 20 percentage points, and has shown no signs of gaining anything back. He loses support every time people see him in a debate lol.

Wilson said for legal reasons, he can not discuss details of the incident.

Yea, he needs time so he can forumlate a solid story that won't easily be seen thru as a lie.......

I had a woman sit on my desk and spread her legs so I could see her thong. I once had a woman ask me to meet her in the filing room for a romp. Shit happens at work. Hell, we had a president who splattered his help with semen. Shit happens.

Yeah, he just laughed and shut up about it, but he was always one to be a bit flirty even after that. The weird part was I had known the guy my whole life...he was the dad to one of my best friends in high school. There are just some men who are like that. Big deal.

The difference is if he had cornered me, alone, and started grabbing me, I would've called the cops and prosecuted him, not sued my employer or asked for/accepted a "payoff".

I also would've cracked him in the head with a glass ashtray. That's how long ago it was. :)

Bingo... you know indy... I hate that we have to fight against the dims while those that are supposed to be on our side are trying to shoot us in the back. Friendly Fire... the rinoid tactic. I have no problem with any criticism of any candidate as long as it is based on his/her statements or actions... but innuendo and sexually related attacks with absolutely no proof offered of any kind... of a nature even worse than the attacks on Clarence Thomas... have no place in American Politics.

If its anything like what Anita Hill alleged Clarence Thomas did, let’s hear it.

It's not about the facts, it's the seriousness of the claim......

Romney got the nod long ago. The GOP did not count on dealing with a rebellion. I am willing to bet they thought the mood which gave rise to the Tea Party would mellow long ago.
