Oklahoma political consultant Chris Wilson says if the woman behind the reported sexual harassment complaint against GOP Presidential hopeful Herman Cain is allowed to speak publicly, it'll be the end of Cain's run for the White House.

Interviewed today on KTOK's Mullins in the Morning, Wilson, of Wilson-Perkins-Allen Opinion Research headquartered in Washington, D.C. explained he was a witness to the incident. "I was the pollster at the National Restaurant Association when Herman Cain was head of it and I was around a couple of times when this happened and anyone who was involved with the NRA at the time, knew that this was gonna come up."

“There are four ways to vote for Obama.
1. Vote for Obama
2. Write in a candidate
3. Vote third party
4. Don’t vote.”

You forget number 5.

5. Vote for a “republican” that is for open borders, global warming, abortion, amnesty, gun control, EPA, EEOC, Ethanol subsidies, Obamacare or any similar thing, Windmills instead of gas and Coal, Bailing out the EU by destroying the dollar with unlimited printing, etc etc.
Because the 5th way,,,is still a vote for Obama with a slight change in how he approaches national holidays.

My state is so Republican that if I refused to vote and recruited everyone that I know to do the same and they recruited everyone they knew to do the same and we got a movement going, the Republican candidate would still win my state handily. (BTW, I would vote in other races. As of right now, only one candidate is on my won't vote for list.)

The attorney that drew up the contract is the one that does that, the contract puts him in charge of enforcement.

The attorney has no standing to bring a law suit, only the parties to the contract.

The "fascination" is that until the (R) nominee is chosen, it is us against the GOP machine who has already decided that it is Romney's turn.

I am a woman. I hate the p.c. sexual harassment crap. Just the charge alone, even if 100% false, can ruin a man.

I am a good judge of character, and I have met Mr. Cain, years ago. He is genuinely a nice guy. Yes politics is a nasty business because you not only have to deal with the other side, but your own side trying to destroy you as well.

Of course all this makes Cain uncomfortable. He has never had to deal with this level of underhanded b.s., and I'm sure it takes some getting used to. I couldn't deal with it without freaking out.

“I’m not quite sure what the fascination is with who leaked this story...it’s been in the news for several days and Cain needs to deal with this to make it go away”

because if it is from an opponent, we believe it less, and Cain is not under such an onus. Also, we then have free license to use the same detail in examining the repub who launched the attack. Talking to every woman he worked around 20 years ago,,,etc.

Because fox news channel has a political agenda and it does not include staunch conservatives under any circumstances. I am not talking about a half dozen or so part time consultants or lame Sean Hannity... I am talking about the political progressive agenda of the owners and the manager of the network... it is almost as far to the left as CNN.

Take a look at Matt Mackowiak’s webpage.

Several articles favorable to Rick Perry

The comments on this thread have been pretty pathetic: it was Rove . . . it was Bush . . . it was Perry . . . it was Romney . . . he's gay . . . Oklahome is next to Texas. And so forth. The only things these comments have in common is their paranoia and their lack of supporting evidence (well, ok, Texas is next to Oklahoma, but . . .).

And in case anyone thinks I'm a big fan of any of Cain's rivals, I'm not. And so far, I think the case against Cain is pretty flimsy; it sounds, at worst, like he might have propositioned someone, and if THAT'S a crime, we'd have to build 10,000 more jails to hold all of us (Yes, us.)

Don't you realize the the political class is the same, Dem or GOP?

This country has been run into the ground for 75 years by politicians whose main concern is to get the serfs to fight amongst themselves so that they can go on doing whatever they want, so they can enrich themselves, their families and their friends.

At what point do Americans stand up and tell them all to go to hell? Or do we go down as being unable to tear ourselves away from party obligation long enough to save the country?

We are within inches of losing our Republic forever. If we continue to choose between bad or worse, well then we get what we deserve.

Who gives a crap? Even if he joked to her about something sexual, she may have taken it seriously and it was a joke. I believe Cain!

People need to step back and take a breath.

1. Sexual harassment does happen.
2. Cain admits there were charges.
3. Apparently this woman was paid off to go quietly.
4. Many people know about it.

I'm a guy, and I have been propositioned many times by women at work. I never felt it was harassment. I never felt my job was in Jeopardy. I declined because I was married. My marriage was in jeopardy.

However, my brother was propositioned by his female boss, and lost his job inside of 6 months after declining her advances. He left quietly and never filed a suit, yet was convinced she dug him a grave for declining her invitations.

I have sat in an office with a female coworker, while our boss told us that the next employee to hire had to have big breasts.

So lets keep an open mind and see what happens next. I don't want the other shoe to drop as an October surprise in 2012.

“if I were Romney/Rove, I would think that just leaking it kills only one bird - but to make it look like it came from the Perry camp - kills TWO birds with one stone.”

No,, that sounds plausible to me. And Romney Rove could have easily fed it to someone,,who fed it to someone. My mind is open to that possiblity,,,

I’d say that he lives close to Texas and rove and bush... and his online resume states that he is:

“Executive Director at Republican Party of Texas”

I’d say he is part of your gang.

I’m not quite sure what the fascination is with who leaked this story

Because the real story is the person/s who is so deparate to get his numbers up and Cain's numbers down that they'll do anything to make it happen. Trumped up scandal today, who knows what tomorrow. Whomever it is, isn't to be trusted or worthy for the POTUS.

And the culture is so pervasive that even sane people are afraid to openly discuss it.

Not me. NOW is to women what the NAACP is to blacks. Both are vomit.

I think at this point it doesn’t matter who leaked it - it probably was from a Republican challenger, but the fact is it’s in the news cycle and Cain has to deal with it correctly. If there’s nothing to it then it backfirres and helps Cain. The press isn’t going to let up until all the facts come out.

I’m seeing connections between Chris Wilson and Matt Mackowiak and the Perry campaign.

[Republican strategist Matt Mackowiak, who is helping raise money for Cain rival Rick Perry, said the Texas governor could benefit from Cain’s problems.]
