Texas Gov. Rick Perry may have slipped badly in recent weeks of polling, but he's doing the best of any Republican presidential candidate attracting political contributions from females.
According to a new study by the Center for Responsive Politics, Perry is receiving a little more than a third of his donations (33.5%) above $200 from women. Former Sen. Rick Santorum is second with 32.3%.
About 27.5% of all political contributions to Republican presidential candidates have come from women, according to the Center study.

Well now, my southern sister, how do you ‘splain Nixon, Carter, zero, LBJ? Surely you don’t consider them good looking. If so, you been lookin’ at too many possum butts.
:)
No mystery to me why women like Rick Perry. He appears to be a strong, macho man, with an affinity for the 2nd amendment, states rights and God, family and country. What more would we want after the Obama mess.
Not only that, Anita Perry could be a welcome first lady breath of fresh air in D.C. The Perrys may not be perfect, but anyone who is holding out for “perfect,” is just delusional.
I guess I was thinking about JFK and GW was OK. Perry is just so darn good looking that its hard to resist hitting that donation button. LOL!!
You really have tunnel vision. What makes a man “good looking” is presence, strength, power and a great sense of humor. If his values are similar to yours, then so much the better.
I have to assume she voted for him. :-)
I sometimes think that women getting the vote was a big mistake and this thread is why I think that. Goofy-arsed women who don’t have a brain! Lord help us.......:(
Wow. Your as dumb as she is. Not a surprise. Can’t figure out how to have an intelligent conversation so you resort to silliness. That is PRECISELY why your crush is GOING DOWN.....well besides the fact he is the second most liberal candidate to run for Republican nomination in history (actually he ties with Romney). His supporters on this site are liberals too. You are one of the most liberal people I have seen on FR. Sad that you get away with it.
You betcha!
Some times I am using sarcasm am some times not, but unless I'm really three feet out of bounds, I rarely use the S/Off tag any more.
I really admire how wifey, after she does the dishes and washing and scrubs the floors, dedicates herself to what ever passion she has {like all of us, at the moment}.
And you can always be counted on to defend her, very noble.
Listen, if my guy goes down, and I don't think he will, and anita's boi toy is my last best chance to beat the mittens, I'll become so pro-la raza rickardo, if you hadn't been following my posts, you will think that I was born on the steps of the Alamo, to the last Texan Alamo defender and a Mexican mama.
Eso es demasiado.
Nope, in the 50s the NAACP was more conservative than I was, and if I offended you, tough, get over it {or not}.
And I do agree with, it is very sad to see what "kind of people" show up on these boards, you sanctimonious sissy.
I’m ABO as well, unless it’s that frickin’ Santorum. Alright, even him, dammmit...
I have tunnel vision? LOL! Not only are you myopic in addition to tunnel vision, but you are, obviously, quite shallow. Oh well.
Bottom line, we don’t know if any of these candidates have any of the characteristics you are hot on until we know them quite well.
LOL!
And you sir, are no William Wallace.
LOL! Never claimed to be. Doesn’t change your multiple vision problems, however.
