A real debate. Not a big media press conference. This ought to be good.

I am really excited about this. I like both of these men.
I think it has the potential to be the best debate so far!

What the hell are they debating about. They agree on everything.

My prediction is it still won’t be enough time for Gingrich to speak, and Cain will have trouble using all his time.

Ninety minutes of thoughtful, detailed debate over serious issues, officially as part of a party fundraiser. With no commercial breaks and Rep. Steve King as timekeeper!
Hallelujah! Let’s hope and pray this catches on. I am soooo sick of these 30-second soundbite, gotcha, brainless, pointless verbal slanging matches overseen by lefty broadcast clowns. Serious debates, cutting out the MSM entirely would be the “conservative” thing to do.

I know, but I am always working when these things are live. For once I want to see it live...and this is my opportunity.
You KNOW there will be a live thread covering it and I for once, want to be apart of it!

What does a FORMER President have to do with Cain? Is Cain apart of this “FORMER President”?
If so, spill it. We need ALL facts now.

These two have an alliance. I think Cain would be happy to be VP to Gingrich. And then he can learn and be the President after. I love these two together.

This might be good. It’s very surprising to me that Cain agreed to this. He seems more fitted to the 30 second sound bite. Newt can go on for hours - as he did day after day in the House Special Orders.
I do not see any upside for Cain - a huge one for Newt.
It will be interesting.

A shame that Perry and Romney didn't have the guts to engage in a similar debate. They were offered the chance....no gotcha moderators, no trying to boil their positions down to 60 seconds.
