I thought when Baraq was elected, the rise of the oceans began to slow and the earth began to heal?

Snow, in October, in the Northeastern U.S., is a “freak weather disaster?”

The report from the Nobel Prize-winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change...

Uh-huh! Has goverment ever really solved a long-term problem? Other than War, I mean? The Nobel Committee needs to clean house so they don't endorse this kind of politically-motivated psuedo-scientific drivel.

Global warming is like racism. Only whites can hate blacks. Yet, the FBI reports the annual statistic 20,000 white women raped by blacks and no black women raped by whites. Hence with global warming expect a new ice age.

On another note, why do global warming alarmists always meet in hot places, Uganda?

Global warming is causing this? What rubbish. Higher temperature deltas between the higher and lower latitudes is what causes this sort of weather behavior, aka, arctic and antarctic cooling. Wonder what causes that? (refer to my about page).

It would seem to me that instead of trying to control the weather, on the chance that the Earth might actually be going thru a periodic climate change (hey, it does happen, it’s not caused by man since most of them have happened without man in the picture at all), we might actually simply be trying to figure out how best to maximize our lifestyle in case of things like colder temps, warmer temps, more rain, less rain, etc. But then again, that wouldn’t allow politicians to control the population....

So who designated the storm to be "sudden"?

****It says there is at least a 2-in-3 probability that climate extremes have already worsened because of man-made greenhouse gases.****

I am reminded of the Great Blizards of 1888, on the high plains and in NYC.

Then the heat waves in NYC from 1879-1905.

Then the great high plains heat of 1934-1939.

And who can forget 1954! It was as hot then as it was this year!

***from the sudden October snowstorm***

I remember seeing ice and snow in mid September 1960 while living in NE New Mexico on the high plains.

I also remember reading of a snow storm that socked in NE NM back in the late 1800s. IN AUGUST!

...from a panel of the world's top climate scientists paints a wild future for a world already weary of weather catastrophes costing billions of dollars. The report says costs will rise and perhaps some locations will become "increasingly marginal as places to live."

Scare stories have been pushed by these people for the last 25 years.

Can Warmists point to ONE PLACE that has become 'increasingly marginal" as a place to live? Or ONE island that's 'gone under'? Anything other than more scare stories with NOTHING to back them up? One scrap of proof?

On the east coast of the U.S., the “fall line” used to be the edge of the sea. (The fall line runs through Columbia, Raleigh, Richmond, etc.) Obviously, the sea has receded. On whom shall we blame this? There were no people, no cars, no factories, no machines.

We live on a thin layer of material floating on an immense ball of molten material. We have our ups-and-downs in the tiny little area of weather we live in, but cows farts are not worth worrying about...or most coal-fired plant emissions, for that matter.

If our “global warming/climate change” scientists would go downtown and clean up after the “occupiers,” they would make a more meaningful contribution.
