I think it's fine for you to be with Cain, it's fne that you support him. But please do not equate him with Clarance Thomas. I lived through those days and watched what happened to Justice Thomas and believe me, it was NOTHING like what is happening with Cain.

Don't even attempt to equate the two situations, they are NOTHING alike and you belittle Justice Thomas by that comparison.

I, too, was there during the Clarence Thomas hearings. And I DO compare the two - as do others. We are seeing another black man - a dark skinned black man - being targeted as a sex harasser. It's the old lie promoted by evil liberal white guys and gals that black men can't be trusted around women. It's disgusting. And do you really think this is the end of the story? We've already been told by a Perrybot that there is more to come.

How ridiculous to think that because I admire and like Cain I am somehow not differential to Justice Thomas!

I was around during the appointment hearing for Justice Thomas and I say you are wrong! The same tactic is being foisted on Cain and it is wrong! Cain has a long and established record of solid performance and out of the wood work two people perceived his actions at some point to be sexual in nature? So what, now candidates have to worry about twelve year old accusations which by the way did not rise to any level of impropriety and suddenly it becomes “sexual harassment”. These women were gold diggers looking for the big cash out plain and simple. If Cain was some sort of sexual predator I am sure he would have a slew of woman coming forward. That is not the case. Yes this is another “high tech” lynching of a successful black man who has earned his place to be elected President. He will have my vote if he is the Republican candidate.
