Cain spoke in response to detailed questioning from Fox News' Greta van Susteren, who led Cain through the facts of the case in an extended interview. That interview was taped to be shown on Fox Monday night.
Cain told van Susteren that he remembered one woman who was a writer in the Association's communications department. "I can't even remember her name, but I do remember the formal allegation she made in terms of sexual harassment," Cain said. "I turned it over to my general counsel and one of the ladies that worked for me, the woman in charge of human resources. They did investigate…and it was found to be baseless."
Van Susteren asked Cain how often he saw the woman. "I might see her in the office because her office was on the same floor as my office," Cain said. Van Susteren asked whether the woman traveled with Cain, who spent a lot of time on the road speaking to restaurant associations around the country. "No, never," Cain said.
Van Susteren asked what Cain did that led to the accusation. There were reportedly more than one accusations in the complaint, but Cain said he recalled just one incident. "She was in my office one day, and I made a gesture saying -- and I was standing close to her -- and I made a gesture saying you are the same height as my wife. And I brought my hand up to my chin saying, 'My wife comes up to my chin.'" At that point, Cain gestured with his flattened palm near his chin. "And that was put in there [the complaint] as something that made her uncomfortable," Cain said, "something that was in the sexual harassment charge."

Cain’s side of the story is very easy to believe to me. I’ve had the pleasure of working with him some over meals and around his current office. Seeing how he interacts - is consistent with his personality.
This little dust up will blow over soon enough. God often allows these false accusations to rise up and then promotes his servants with blessings afterwards. Better that it happens now than in 2012. Takes the air right out of the liars balloons.

I had wondered how long it would take the Leftist establishment to come up with a slander of Herman Cain. I figured they would come up with someone who would accuse him of serving them a pizza laced with pubic hair, just as they smeared Clarence Thomas. The time has come for unrestrained warfare on the Left; an end to all “reaching across the aisle,” an end to all bipartisan committees. This is war, and the survival of the Republic hangs on the outcome. Get it on.
Let him know we are staying and praying on his behalf. Please tell me he understands how our trust in him makes us vulnerable... We have high expectations. Cain/ Gingrich or vice versa! He has that Palin quality, we relate to him. Thanks for your efforts! If he takes the Constitution for it’s word, he will be historical... As much as a mere man can be.
Oh, yeah. The left now sees him as someone who can take the win from Hussein so they have to stop him any way they can. Same as they did with Palin. It’s just starting. They’ll be making bs up from now until, as they said the other day, he gets put back in his place.

I agree. He can come out stronger than before. This could help with some voters, since you only have to have been a lead person on a shift to deal with people making up any manner of BS to get time off work or to get away from a supervisor or manager that actually requires they do the job they are being paid for.

If this complaint is frivolous, I hope it ruins the woman’s life. It’s not merely politics as usual or even bad form to exaggerate such allegations for political effect; it’s genuinely evil. I doubt that any decent person will work with her after this, and I imagine she will get what she deserves if she’s stuck working only with liberal Obama-voters. Note: I do not approve of retaliation for whistle-blowers over real offenses, but when the claims are not real, the irresponsible party needs to be shunned or worse forever.
