Okay, the harassment claims were surely BS by women just out for money, but Cain has got to get his story straight. Changing what he says hour to hour is just not good.

I just sent Herman another cash settlement today!
Go Mr. Herman Cain! Every time Politico or any one puts out a
hit piece on Herman, I will send in extra cash.

He added what his counsel said to what he said. I don’t think he’s changing his story. His counsel reminded him of what happened.

This in nothing more than a Witch Hunt orchestrated by Romney and Perry operatives.

This is nothing.

Read this: http://www.jsonline.com/watchdog/noquarter/state-firms-cash-to-herman-cain-may-breach-federal-campaign-tax-laws-132898423.html

I’m neither anti or pro Herman Cain. I’m definitely NOT for Romney (I detest professional Pols) and I’m not so thrilled with Perry, either. Herman’s got a good thing going, but I’m starting to get a bad feeling. To paraphrase my favorite philosopher, Han Solo.

I thought Cain was putting together a really savvy political team. Surely someone is there to guide him through this mess.

Agreed. If his story is changing this fast that is not good. Perhaps he was reminded of the event after the 1st interview. If that is the case, then he should simply say he had forgotten and was just reminded by his legal counsel of these details.

We really don’t know whether the claims against him were BS or not. But you’re right, this is a mess for Herman and he’s not making it any better.

You know, I am Herman’s age, and I can not remember what I had for breakfast yesterday. If you asked me details of me getting grilled by the boss, there is no way I would remember 15 years back. Wait till you get in your 60’s.

Memory is the 2nd thing that goes! And I can not rememeber what was the 1st.

Earlier today he said he personally didn’t pay a settlement and that he didn’t know if the National Restaurant Association paid a settlement.

Now he knows.

No big deal.

When it first came out he probably didn't know all the facts. After checking with his lawyer he got the facts, but geeze how long ago was it and I'm sure it wasn't stored in long term memory..A lot of false claims are made all the time by scum that hope for a big pay off.....Alot of times company's will pay out because its cheaper in the long run for bogus claims...to me its no big deal...but Clintons blue dress was. And as the democrats said at the time, it was ONLY sex so it didn't matter....

The democrats love high tech lynching for those that fled the plantation...In the old days they could shoot the slaves that fled, now they have to destroy them...but only if their black....

Imho, all this means is that as Cain has maintained all along, he was not involved in the investigation or resolution of the accusations. Imho, he should not have been involved, and there would probably have been an outcry if he had been involved.

It was years ago, and I continue to believe that Herman Cain is our best candidate. I like, respect and believe in him.

Cain’s statement represent a reversal from what the Republican said only hours ago, when he denied that he knew about any settlement that was reached after the claims of sexual harassment were made.

OK, Palin is not running , Cain is toast, lets dump him. Who's next on the cutting board? Let's get rid of all of them....We don't need the Democrats to kill them off, we're doing it ourselves.

Come on MSM, give us some more mud on the wall, we'll take care of the rest..........

He should just say it is a non issue from years ago, give no more details. The media will stretch this out.

I don’t think he said that. He said he didn’t know the details of the settlement and he hoped they didn’t pay her very much because the charge was baseless.

I’m sure he’s talked to the attorneys by now. If I was him I’d identify the woman. Someone talked.

And Greta would leak what appears to be an "exclusive" and breaking news, WHY???

This whole issue smells to high heaven!
