When he’s in New York working for the NY Times, I’ll bet Frank Bruni stays out of parts of Harlem, Brooklyn, and the South Bronx. Let somebody else be mugged and shot with an illegal weapon, the only kind most New Yorkers are allowed to carry.

I’m sure he can get a permit with his political views and connections to City Hall.

Most New Yorkers will never be able to pack heat because Bloomberg thinks only the elites deserve self-protection.

I bet he's more like many of the other, most vocal, opponents of gun rights and has a Glock of his own in his home. Like most liberals, I suspect he is one of those lefty elites who thinks it's okay for HIM, but all of us low-lifes shouldn't have the same rights.

Remember William Raspberry? He was one of the most vocal opponents of 2nd Amendment protections right up until he shot some burglar on his property. How about North Carolina State Senator R.C. Soles who fought against gun rights his entire life then shot an intruder back in February of this year?
