Boehner and the rest of the Republicans in the Congress are having a circle jerk.

Doing nothing but playing with themselves, while Obama is running wild all over the country campaigning on our dime and spending money like a drunken Sultan.

Boehner throws out a threat and Obama just laughs and keeps spending. It’s time the threats stopped and the action began.

What’s the odds of that? Slim and none.

"What else can he do?"

Get out of the frikkin' echo chamber and start confronting this pResident on every issue in a very public way. Hiding behind Laura's skirt while bombastically preaching to the choir adds nothing to the debate in the court of public opinion.

Playing a friendly game of golf and waving to the press is not anywhere close to publicly confronting the Marxist dirtbags public statements.

He won

What he is doing now is the result. The House has no power but to hold hearings and can do nothing. You ascribe power to the speaker that doesn’t exist.

It can be argued the House caved on the budget. There were serious thought given to what is the better course. The present course was determined to be the least worst. It must be endured for another year.

Perhaps a little blood can be drawn from Fast And Furious and adequate taint to add to the presidential stench to further insure victory in 2012.

Then there are Dick Lugar and the bitches from Maine to worry about

Everyone I talk to wants the Congress cleaned of all vermin from both sides of the aisle. The Republicans, who think they’re safe, better wise up. We The People are out to rid this nation of eunuchs and crooks. Boner is the first eunuch that they want to see voted out. He’s spineless, gutless, useless, and cares little about the country. His actions expose his uselessness that borders on treason. In my opinion, Boner would be wise to spend his time 24/7 looking for his gonads.

Palin is the only one on our side who would have the courage to really change things in D.C. This is why she is feared by both sides and all their K Street buddies.

Wrong answer.

To heel? TO HEEL? If these guys truely believed the oaths they made upon entering office they would have already tried to impeach the sonofabitch.

Congress "has all the ultimate weapons in any showdown with either of the other two branches" of the federal government.

If so, the Republicans have certainly elected a bunch of milquetoast fools.

When he actually asks for the money, that will be the time when Boehner should act. What else can he do?

From Maddog55 in Post #4 above: The House voted to approve a continuing resolution to keep the government funded from the end of the fiscal year on Sept. 30 through Nov. 18. According to an analysis by the conservative Republican Study Committee, the CR permits funding for both Planned Parenthood and implementation of Obamacare.

What else can he do??? He has already FAILED to act by allowing the continued funding of Planned Parenthood and, what is worse, the continued implementation of Obamacare!!!!

Get your head out of the sand.

Hear! Hear!

How dumb is it to agree to give up the hard earned majority in the House of Representatives for the equal representation of the Super Committee? How dumb is it?

John ("It's the best deal I could get.") Boehner is a disgrace.

Boehner needs to be out of the Speaker Chair as soon as possible. He is NOT the Right Person for the job.....someone with guts is needed. Does anyone know if Boehner has a primary challenge?

The ability but not the will.

I do not mean to assume power to the speaker that does not exist, but I ask this question: When a President usurps the power of the House or the Senate, who is to stop them?

Is it the duty of the Supreme Court, and if so wouldn’t the House or the senate have to omplain to get the Supreme Court to act?

How do we stop Obama from making laws and regulations that are beyond his Constitutionally granted powers? As he is doing , I might add.

Hundreds of thousands of telephone calls to Boner’s office might give him a clue that he’s gutless, spineless, and reprehensibly, politically impotent. His political ED is a national disgrace, IMO.

He lets Bo pull on the leash like that’s just what dogs do and hopes it shows he’s a “regular guy”. What he really shows is he spends no time with the dog, the dog doesn’t accept him as the lead and that’s not really his dog.

The present course was determined to be the least worst.

That's just a rationalization of defeat. I, for one, am not a victim.

I have family who live in his district and he’s just as tone deaf to them.

With all of the polls, tea partiers and other neglected actual conservative voters screaming at the top of their lungs, he goes out golfing to make a deal. The next day Obama comes out and impugns any conversation they had and Boehnor is begging for the next tee time.

The only answer is to primary the Permanent Political Class. Those who can do nothing else with their life for sustenance will play ball with their constituents just to keep their paychecks.

BTW, top of the day fair lady!

The writer of this article has a VERY short memory.

Bonehead has a long history of surrender. His cave-in’s to zero would make a French Surrender Monkey envious.

The only thing Bonehead wants to do with Zero is negoiate BAD Deals. Bonehead is an EXPERT at BAD DEALS.

The decision has been made.

The Senate has not objected.

The regulations are made in accordance with Congressional wishes. The law leaves much of the regulatory process to the President. Those who are regulated can and do bring suit to reverse the regulations

Here is the likely reasoning.......

Given the Republicans lack control of the Senate, articles of impeachment would lead no positive results. Executive orders can be repealed. The President has no permanent power and certainly can’t do all he would like.

The Republicans can gum up the works within the ability of their cohesion. The Witches from Maine and others can desert the party when they disagree. The party is not homogeneous.

Politics is said to be the art of the possible. The actions of the Speaker indicate a consensus on what is considered possible. You seem to forget that the House has passed and sent to the Senate several bills that accomplish much of what we want but the Senate chooses to not bring them up.

To make the Speaker whipping boy is mentally satisfying but accomplishes nothing and is undeserved
