We're naming Winter Storms now? When did that happen?
The naming of winter storms is apparently something that is done in Connecticut. I’d never heard of it before, but then all our news channels come out of Boston. I guess the CT stations must mention the names. A Freeper mentioned earlier that a storm last year that brought 20+ inches of snow was named “Denis” for comedian Denis Leary, who is from Boston.
They should have named the storm “winter storm Obama” because it caused such hardship and damage.
power back on now at my place in Central CT. I am not taking in refugees, even if they claim to be relatives. I think I am the only one in the county with power.
Still without power in my area of Norwalk. The kerosene heater and my campstove are keeping things manageable. I am getting pretty tired of hearing my neighbors generator though. Noisy dang thing.
Can you use your power to remove that imbecile Malloy from office ?
I’m still out. And T-Mobile, my cell phone provider is out too - I have to go down the street to make a call.
This WAS a nor'easter. Just like a storm one would expect in January. Millions of people still have no power.
Do you even know what a nor'easter is?
newt staff in NH left me voicemail over the weekend. So at least somebody is doing something.
I cannot see myself getting that motivated to go whole hog into the campaign trail. Maybe cuz most GOPers are wet rags when it comes to campaign time. If 300 people show up to see the candidate, you are lucky to get one good volunteer out of the bunch. Tell me I need to be more positive.
It's pretty common up here in the northeast, and in Connecticut specifically, from what I've seen over the years...
