It seems more than obvious that women are a negative influence in a testosterone world.

Quick, somebody, women are a bad influence, we better isolate all military bases, remove all women and families! We better start building bases in the deserts or take a few islands and put all of our military personnel there and make sure they come into contact with no women! We need to make sure that men in the military are only around other men!

What they did was against the UCMJ. They can't choose to selectively follow only certain regulations in the UCMJ.

I did basic at 17 .... would you REALLY expect my mind to be totally concentrating on soldiering and not staring at a fine lookin' lady ... ?
