Education: As if Occupy Wall Street and its parasitic protesters weren't a bad enough example for children, now teacher unions and their enablers are getting into the act with disturbing ideas about "teaching" its tenets.
Little noticed in the protest army sitting in against Wall Street, the educational establishment is more involved than you might think.
From teachers disrupting school board meetings to classroom use of lesson plans about the "Occupy" protests to "teach-ins" that aim to educate the public about protest demands, we are witnessing a vast spread of economic illiteracy for political purposes.
It started early this month when, according to Reason.tv, Patricia McAllister, a substitute teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District who was speaking from the Occupy Los Angeles podium, declared:
"I think that the Zionist Jews who are running these big banks and our Federal Reserve, which is not run by the federal government — they need to be run out of this country." This is a public school teacher in action, teaching the vaunted "tolerance" of the left.
After intense publicity, the district fired McAllister, and Occupy Los Angeles gathered at LAUSD headquarters on Oct. 19 to protest her ouster, even as she refused to retract her words. "It is not racist, it's the truth," McAllister told a local TV station. "Anyone who speaks against the Jews are called racists nowadays."
Yet the American Federation of Teachers has "fully endorsed" the Occupy protest and is calling for the rehiring of 1,000 laid-off teachers, presumably to include McAllister.

Any of the 78% of dumb ass Jews in America who voted for 0dumb0 & the liberal demoRATs in 2008, needs to have their heads examined if they vote again for racist, hateful, lefties (like 0dumb & the socialist demoRATs) who would love to march all the Jews off to extermination camps. I hope that the 78% Jews who voted for 0dumb0 will get their heads out of their asses and vote Republican in 2012 and throw 0dumb0's commie pig ass out of office and into prison or the gallows for treason.
One of my daughters had such a 'lesson' in her economics class.
The teacher showed the clip of the fleabagger who wanted his school loans payed off, but couldn't give a reason why.
My daughter told me they spent the rest of the class laughing their butts off about what an idiots the occu-piers are.
Due to the Obama economy, we were furloughed 7 days for 2 years in a row. We didn't cry like those Wisconsin so-called educators. We took our pay cut in stride for the good of our state and were glad to have a job in these hard times.
I wonder what Randi Weingarten thinks of the anti-semitism. Or Alan Dershowitz. Or Barbara Boxer, Chuck Schumer, Diane Feinstein...
