Good morning, sweet ones!

DJ, you're only two states over, and the PA part is narrow, but we're getting no accumulation. It was 26 this morning, and the grass was frosted again, but it melted already.

Be careful shoveling the snow if it's as wet as they said it would be.

We have an enormous yard and a relatively long driveway, so Hubby has a lawn tractor with a snow thrower attachment to keep it clear. While he's "plowing," I go out and shovel the front porch and the slab by the back door.

Today he's going to mulch-mow the lawn, perhaps for the last time this season. The sea of fallen leaves make great mulch.


The long driveway from last April 22, when you would think that the snow would be over with.

Hubby has a snow thrower. He had to get one as we have a big horseshoe farm driveway. It curves around between the house and the remains of the barn. And, of course, both ends of the drive get plowed in. LOL

We only got about 8 inches. But it is a heavy, soggy mess.

It was built circa 1849...oldest church in the area. Rocklin also has the Placer Herald...longest continuously printing newspaper in California....since 1848
