The occupy craze.
Boy, I feel 40 years younger! The 1960s "anti-war" protests all over again.
The protester injured in Oakland is claimed to be a Marine Corps veteran. I saw an article reporting that Marine veterans (my question remembering the 1960s: Are they really veterans?or even served in the Marine Corps? Anywhere?) are massing to confront the Oakland police for doing that to their "brother."
What's next?
Headline:
Senator John Kerry testifies to Senate subcommittee
"Oakland Police Crimes"
Oakland policemen "cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed encampment in fashion reminiscent of Ghengis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the camp site. . . ."
.. sounds like Savage just switched on his distributive audio book -- another Savage first.

Oh no! I almost started to rejoice that he did NOT take a 5-day weekend, only to hear he wants readers to recite their favorite paragraph. That's as bad as being invited to a party that you only know 1 person and everybody is engaging in endless gossip of people you've never met.
I'm almost longing for an Encore Segment or the 3rd hour.
