Hussein is admitting, by these executive orders, that HE COULD HAVE SIGNED THEM AT ANY TIME. BUT HE WAITED THREE YEARS TO DO IT. WHY?

The answer is easy: they're not anything except a campaign tool. Executive Orders are DONE ANYTIME. He isn't limited as to WHEN he can issue them.

If these are such DAMN fine ideas, Hussein didn't have to put them in legislation. He could have signed them the MOMENT he seized power in January of 2009.

The idea isn’t necessarily to accomplish much of anything. But if his opposition shouts “abuse of power” when he really isn’t doing anything, then it looks to the voters like he’s actually doing something. Remember Clinton’s “triangulation” strategy?
