I really doubt this story.

Given the amount of TLC that the two Presidential VC-25’s get from their maintenance crews, I don’t think anything like this could happen even if Obama himself ordered it. Their systems are monitored and kept at such a high standard, far higher than other military or civilian aircraft, that something like this is difficult to believe.
