85% of Montgomery County’s budget goes towards personnel costs. I’m sure a similar percentage can be found at the state level.
Reducing the number regulations isn’t going to do squat to satiate the black hole of government.

Trying to start a business in Maryland is horrible. I won’t bore you with the awful details, but now I’m wondering if, as a MD resident, I can start an LLC or a 501(c)3 nonprofit foundation in a more reasonable state, like nearby Virginia.
