Aspirin does not cause liver damage unless taken in dosages that would kill you anyway. Perhaps you are thinking of Tylenol (Acetaminophen) which may cause liver damage and should especially not be taken with alcohol.

I take at least 2 aspirins daily and have done so for many years mostly for headaches. I will say that it has affected my stomach and I have to drink milk as a chaser so I don’t get sick. I know it has thinned my blood, and when I cut myself I bleed a lot. I’m 63 and have tried to do without aspirin, but I think I may have gotten hooked on them. I think they can also damage the kidneys.

Regular use of aspirin will kill you, or leave you aphasic.
