That's a tough debate opponent for Cain.
Wouldn't it be great to see a Cain/Gingrich Ticket, then watch Cain destroy The Messiah in a debate, while Newt would mop the floor with Plugs Biden, and the clips from THAT one would go viral on the Internet within minutes! LOL

It's long past time for the candidates (Ds -and- Rs alike) to quit letting the alleged "journalists" control the debates, and let some true thinkers have at it!
I know Newt is one, I hope Cain is one. Go fellers!

If I lived closer, I would pay $200 to see it. Maybe they can do a pay-per-view..

I think they’re up to something :-).
Do they split the proceeds equally among the campaigns?
Steve King moderating?
I like the sounds of this very much...and I hope they open it up to a pay-per-view (once the seats are sold out of course)

I believe it will be more of a ‘conversation’ between two adult patriots; substance, creativity and optimism for curing what ails us.
Either one as POTUS would be a blessing - together - now that would be Eisenhower and Churchill redux. AWESOME!!!!

Gingrich has repeatedly said that if he were the Republican nominee, he would challenge President Obama to seven three-hour Lincoln-Douglas style debates. LOL...obama wouldn't last 30 seconds.
Just ask Mooshelle.

If it wasn’t so darn far away, I’d gladly pay to see this.
I’d pay triple the price to see Newt take on Obama.
I could live with a Newt/Cain ticket.

I think this debate will be a huge win-win for both Cain and Gingrich and more debates like it will follow. Certainly it has potential to elevate Cain in the eyes of many.

I”m thinking TV will have to stay away from this; since only two candidates were invited, all the other candidates would scream about wanting equal access if a network covered this one. Or, it might get counted as an in-kind campaign contribution.

I would gladly pay $1000 to attend, but my eyes, ears and legs aren’t so good anymore. So I just might be sending Herman Cain $1000 anyway.

This is a great idea! If no lamestreamers want to televise it, it could easily be shown on the net ala GBTV. I’d even pay for a download.
I have never understood why liberals have control over Republican primary debates. Now, we don’t need them. We have the technology!

I’d pay the $1000. Would be worth it.
I’d like to see all the top tier candidates do this in one fashion or another.
