Texas congressman and current Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul defended the rights of gay military servicemen and servicewomen to serve, saying everybody has the same rights as everybody else....
...And theres a lot more heterosexuals in the military, so logically theyre causing more trouble than gays....
...Mr. Paul, who has emphasized his campaigns support from the military, was one of five House Republicans to vote for the repeal of the dont ask, dont tell policy earlier this year. The Texas Republican has repeatedly expressed support for repealing the controversial policy, which took effect last month

No surprise there.
I think his comment about not wanting a Wall between Mexico and US because it would be used to keep us from fleeing to Mexico (a Berlin Wall) made him look certified crazy. He was quizzed about it on FNC Special Report yesterday and couldn’t explain the statement.

Yep I heard that argument before from my two Liberaltarian brothers. Ron Paul is God to them, everything he says they parrot and believe, be thankful you don’t have to live with two Paultards.
On one of the debates, I couldn't hear a word he said because I kept waiting for the left eyebrow to fall off.
I don't know if they are in fact fake, but they certainly looked like it to me. Do you know for a fact that they were fake?
Well as a libertarian, he really doesn’t care what their culture is about as long as it doesn’t “affect” him.
He doesn’t see that they degrade and erode the culture, are sources of disease and filth and are really people in need of mental and spiritual health, and are trying to destroy the concept of a judeo-Christian nuclear family (that I know he himself has and is proud of - kids, grandkids and great grandkids). And that their goals are to change the culture that way.
Simple courtesy is when the eyebrow hair starts running wild, you trim them. They have great little trimmers with adjustable guards so you don’t accidentally shave the entire thing off. They work really well.
I couldn't be a ‘Paul supporter’ because he breaks one of my commandments : “Don't say crazy sounding stuff I cant defend.”
In the way he reminds me of his exact opposite Paul Krugman. They both always come up with such extremely impossible ideas that will never ever be tried so they can always claim that 'they are the magic answers that were never tried'. Those two should host a new crossfire show.
It's almost like a Biblical thing with supporters, Some day the whole world economy will implode and then we will ALL run to Ron Paul the prophet and beg him to save us with his religion (invisible god) called ‘Free market” from the Golden Calf called :”Federal Reserve” , LOL, they can take a good idea and make it silly.
I agree. RP is naive. The “culture” comment was shorthand for something along the lines of your post.
Bummer! You may be right about his not knowing much about the gay agenda, but I wonder just how much he has actually said, and in what context?
He might have slipped some from his (IMO 98%) rating, but he is still light-years ahead of Mitt.
Agreed, but everybody except Huntsman is at least one lightyear ahead of Mitt ;-)
And he never read Col. Ronald D.Ray (USMC Ret.) paper on Gays in the Military—nor Melissa Wells-Petry —Exclusion(on Gays in the Military. I could NEVER vote for Ron Paul no matter how passionate his useful idiots are.
When you cant get any traction in the polls sometimes you gotta check the fudge in the oven like the real politicians do to get over the hump.
He, like Obama, give lip service to God the Creator and by default are enemies of self determination and individual liberty...
You got a link for this? (So far I've not been able to find a copy of the paper.)
So he is a consistent Liberaltarian, now he just has to come clean about his support for prostitution and pornography.
I clicked the link and there is no hint about the book. Got any clues about it?
