The State Department on Wednesday defended spending tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars on books authored by President Obama, while White House spokesman Jay Carney called the book-buying an embassy-based decision. The comments followed a report Wednesday by The Washington Times that found the State Department had spent more than $70,000 on books by Mr. Obama. Most of the purchases came in the months after Mr. Obama won the White House, though the embassy in Paris spent more than $8,000 for copies of Dreams From My Father as recently as March.

Bill Ayers claims to be the author of Dreams From My Father.
I doubt that Obumbo has written anything.

Still, there are other records of book purchases by the State Department that do not contain a book title at all. Mein Kampf?

I haven't read his books nor do I intend to. I saw ‘Dreams’ at a book sale last week for a dollar. It sat untouched for the entire sale. I read an article in a 1983 Columbia student newspaper that was by-lined to Obama. It dealt with nuclear disarmament and was poorly written in the extreme. Logic, flow, and critical analysis were functionally absent. The mind which produced that article was a lifetime away from creating a marketable manuscript

So many frauds being perpetrated by this administration - this being just one of the latest to come to light.
Lets see - its a win-win for Obama:
1. it artificially bumps up his book sales numbers, financially benefitting him, as well as helping to further inflate his already inflated ego - for an egomaniac... how nice.
2. It provides freebies to hand out as they prepare for a full-court assault to get him re-elected.
3. Megalomaniac being fed... just making the problem worse.

Just a thought, who else would buy this crap anyway?

$70,000? That’s chicken feed. It’s not even enough to create a single green job.
