Another month, another White House catchphrase.
Pass this bill looks to have been retired by White House message-makers.
The heyday for President Obamas three-word exhortation came in September, after he put forward his $447-billion jobs plan. Speech after speech, Obama commanded lawmakers to pass this bill. Day after day, Congress refused.
With the impasse in its seventh week, the White House is trying a different approach, encapsulated in a new three-word slogan that is part plea, part battle cry.
We cant wait.

The LA Times also overlooks the signal that Obama will continue to mine the racial vein, while trying to glom onto the MLK Jr. legacy.
"Why We Can't Wait" is the title of a book by MLK.

Hope and change
Win the future
Pass this bill
We can't wait
Funny how he sticks to the three word phrases. Oddly enough, most of my three word replies to his nonsense start with "go."

Republicans should reply persistently that Obama is spending money today that our grandchildren haven't even earned yet.

I love simple, effective three-word messages. Remember how this one helped Jerry Ford get re-elected... /sarc
