Almost looks more like a cluster munition going off above the bikes. Does the 30mm gun really have that wide a “pattern”?

Just wondering how these guys were tagged as Taliban, just because they’re riding dirt bikes? Seems if that’s the case there could be a lot of collateral deaths. This is part of the reason Iraq has asked us to leave, just too many collateral deaths for the population to stomach.

Hannibal is holding a Smith & Wesson Model 39. Cool. Prolly a 9. I don’t think they offered it in .40 then. It has the “big
ears” adjustable rear sight.

I have a early serial number Model 39 from the 1950s. I treasure it.

I don’t think they just decided to shoot dirt bikers. Probably had intel that targeted these chuckleheads.

If the pilot works the rudder and wags the tail, then yes. But it sure does look like a cluster munition. Either way, those scum don’t stand a chance against depleted uranium or frag munitions.

The rest of your post is presumtive meaninglessness until you answer that question.

Doesn`t the A10 pilot know he is supposed to drop Miranda leaflets first?

“This is part of the reason Iraq has asked us to leave, just too many collateral deaths for the population to stomach.”

Where do you get your information? The rules of engagement are very restrictive in Iraq now. A soldier has to file a stack of paperwork if he fires a warning shot.

Afghanistan is another story.

I’m glad we’re leaving Iraq, we should be leaving Afghanistan. There is no end game. No win. We’re losing people and money for no real reason.
