Bookings for U.S.-made products designed to last at least three years fell by 0.8% last month, the Commerce Department said. Economists surveyed by MarketWatch had expected a 1.0% decrease.
Transportation orders slumped 7.5% to account for virtually the entire decline...

Yes, they were, but looking at these numbers monthly is like comparing today's snowfall to yesterday's and drawing conclusions about climate change.
