This was inevitable and predictable from the very beginning. A couple of dozen countries with hatreds for one another that went back centuries, different philosophy s, languages, religions. You name it. That it took this long is amazing in itself. The thing that has kept the “UNITED STATES of AMERICA together for so long, Civil War notwithstanding, is language, culture and a general adherence to a Christian philosophy. Those who would destroy us will do everything to destroy those fundamental legs of out society. You see it in play every day.

My family has been in the US for 4 generations but we still keep in touch with the relative in Europe. This is what I’ve learned:
1) The Polish side hates the Russians, REALLY hates to Ukrainians and doesn’t trust the Germans.
2) The French fear the Germans, loathe the British and believe the Spanish and Italians are filthy people.
3) The Irish hate EVERYBODY who is not Irish.
4) The Italians think the Greeks are pigs, the Croats are modern day Nazis and the Swizz are snobs.
What a One-World Government Looks Like

From what I have seen of people, I don’t think some form of world government would ever work. Thinking people, as opposed to writers of silly songs, understand the sheer military power that it would take to suppress the identities of the worlds cultures. It is a Satanic vision to destroy the cultures of the world. It would take a very brutal heavy boot on the neck of the world to impose a Pax Romana. The Romans only could control part of their known world. We did in this country get the Indian tribes to quit butchering each other for entertainment, but even that was a long process and many of the tribes still exist as a subculture. I think the only chance would be the invention of a new weapon, and this time, in the hands of a very malevolent government. The United States was the only country that was in that position briefly in human history and fortunately for the world it was us and not the Nazis who had the bomb.

Anyone who believes that a one world government ahas any chance at some Utopia is naive. Attributes of a one world government:
1. Massive rioting in most major cities to protest eveything from worthy issues to the most trivial.
2. Oppresive taxation to keep the “Holy Roman Emperor” in silk BVDs.
3. Continuous civil war.
It is an astoundingly bad idea.
In my opinion, it is only the "Western" Left that wants to do away with borders and live under a one world government. The Communists who have run the hermit state of North Korea for over sixty years don't show any interest at all in erasing their borders for such an arrangement.
As a matter of fact, outside the "West" the Left is usually fanatically nationalistic. Instead of "class war" (since everyone who lives in these countries is a peasant) they have war against the "foreign devils" in order to free the Sacred Mystical Mother Soil from its "occupation." The "class war" has become completely subsumed in the mystical nationalist crusade against the foreign occupier.
Even in Europe there are fanatical left wing nationalists: the Irish Republicans, the Basques, the various Celtic nationalist groups. These left wingers are fighting for national sovereignty. Are they going to turn right around and submerge their nation once again if this is accomplished?
Also note that the old Communist governments routinely accused America and other Western governments of "interfering in the affairs of sovereign states." They might have been happy for us to have John Lennon, but they didn't seem to want anybody like him on their home turf.
Finally, the literature of the Irish socialists over a century ago actually identified capitalism with internationalism and the lack of true sovereignty. According to them (and according to Communist Irish Republicans today) so long as Ireland is run by "foreign bankers" (??????) the sovereignty of the Irish Republic is illusory. To these people, it is socialism that makes a nation sovereign and capitalism that subjects it to (hidden) foreign rule. Some of this left wing nationalist literature reads just like the propaganda of the American "patriot movement" and its diatribes against the "Zionist Occupation Government" (or the "foreign banking cartel" that "runs the Fed").
For you newbies out there, I'm not defending socialists or Communists, just merely pointing out that they are hypocrites, advocating internationalism for the West but fanatical nationalism for themselves. Wideawake will be my character reference.
