If we gave it just a little thought and asked what kind of organization throughout mankind's history has accounted for his greatest grief, the answer wouldn't be a free market, private, profit-making enterprise; it would be government, the largest nonprofit organization.

Not just government. Privately owned non-profits are notoriously inefficient with very high overhead costs. United Way is a good example that hit the news a few years back on this. The reason is they have no natural mechanism to sense the problem and force them to find an effective resolution as private businesses do.

The problem I have seen is that kids out of college view complex processes in such a simple fashion that they buy into the liberal socialist view that all profits can just go to employees or recipients.

Governments have an even a bigger problem because they make all the rules to suit themselves and are guided by political interests.

Take a GOOD look at the non-P R O F I T S of AARP, and their salaries.....non profit my azz!!
