Peshawar — Rechecking of the Voter List has not been finalized at KhyberPukhtoonkhwa province because of a law and order situation. Army operations haveaffected the rechecking process at Bara Khyber Agency.
An Election Commission sourcesaid that more the 3 thousand peoples left the area of Khyber agency because ofarmy operations and there is no rechecking process yet, also in some areasmilitant’s ban the survey teams in different areas, who were busy in recheckingprocess.
The same Election Commission sourceconfirmed that more then 50 percent rechecking is complete in different area ofthe KP Province, but the remaining 50 percent are still pending because of the lawand order situation.
The area of provincialminister for Usher and Zakat Nemroz Khan was also in pending district. Recheckingprocess of the Voter List didn’t start in Tor Ghar District, which is the 25th district of theKP province.
The Election Commission has given adeadline for rechecking the Voter List, deadline is 30 October 2011, and asyet the rechecking process is not complete.
