“There are those who estimate the planet can handle five trillion.”
And I bet they wear those little tin foil hats that prevent the moon people from reading their minds.

“So much for the UN’s prior prediction that the population would level off and reach zero growth by mid-century.”
Absolute nonsense. Fewer children were born this year worldwide than 10 years ago.
Worldwide TFR is just 2.4
So you are saying that if everyone had 2 and a half children in their families, that the world would come to disaster?

“If you placed the entire world population in Texas (please don’t), everyone would have plenty of room.”
Why not? You just said everyone would have plenty of room. Define plenty of room. Ten square feet?

The UN doctrine calls for a population reduction by whatever means and so does Mr. Soros. Being worried about depressed peoples around the world is nothing more than a smokescreen to gain support, their real agenda comes later.

Texas is approximately 1 million square miles or 2.787e+13 square feet. Divide that by 7 billion folks (give or take), and that leaves almost 4000 square feet per person.
It's an empty, lonely, world, outside of citites.
Math is hard, for some folks.

Then stick them all into Texas and leave the rest of the world to the wildlife.
