But Karl and Britt both said that Cain was done. That his gaffes were fatal and he would start faltering significantly in the polls. [/sarcasm]

Hehehe...guess that didn't ask the right people. So does that make their statements, "gaffes"?

Cain has made gaffes and mis-quotes and mis-statements. But most people trust him. They know he is not a "professional" polished politician. They also know that he has the country's best interests at heart and trust his record as a decision maker and problem solver in business to allow him to get in a position to put a team together to tackle the problems we face...and to do it from American interests, with a solidly all-American and traditional American fundamental principle base.

That's what they are all missing...and it is exactly what Obama and his ilk will overlook as well because in Obama's case he simply cannot concieve it or give it credence in any case because such a notion is alien to him.

The way I put the same point is that Cain’s sin is that he actually answers the question the best he can, without changing the subject or providing a canned answers.

It gets him into little bits of trouble, but that he can get out of because people believe him.
