most flat tax offerings by republicans exempt low income folks. The repubs do not want to open that can of worms. 909 or 999 can be changed as he has already shown, but at least we are talking about two things: a change in the tax code and the fact that low incomers have to pay SOMETHING.

I think the best way to get away from 9-0-9/9-9-9 is to say he’s open for suggestions just as long as our current tax code and the 16th amendment are abolished.

He needs to come on Mark’s show and get straightened out.

There was no change to 999. The opportunity zones were always part of it on his site. Offsets for poverty were always part of it too. That’s why the rates are 999, not 777. That’s detailed in the scoring report, again, on Cain’s site. It wasn’t in the 30-second soundbite version but always there.
